Sunwise Systems presently operates as a sole proprietorship under Graham Bartsch
but the roots of the company took hold in the late 1980s with his father Chris Bartsch and his interest in efficient design and building.
A unique and logical relationship between in-floor heating and decorative/polished concrete manifested itself in Chris’s first decorative concrete floor.
By the mid 1990s a father/son partnership of Chris and Graham Bartsch had developed and continued until 2012.
Sunwise Systems presently operates out of Kamloops with 4 employees
and a working service area which includes
the Thompson/Okanagan, Kootenays, Cariboo/Chilcotin, Lower Mainland/Vancouver Island, and The Mighty Peace Country.

Decorative Concrete Line Cutting Machine
Sunwise Systems has developed a proprietary line cutting machine, the SWS9,
which cuts an artful, shallow, concave groove into the surface of the floor
as borders, grid lines, tactile warnings and around fixed objects.
